I get it. You cleared your calendar, your hair has been highlighted and you bought smart new clothes in preparation for your shoot. You’ve poured time, money and high hopes into this day. Unfortunately, you didn’t anticipate your hair dryer blowing up 30 minutes before we’re supposed to meet. Or the the baby spitting up all over your dry-clean only shirt. Or the shutdown of three lanes of traffic during rush hour, which will surely make your sweetheart late. Any other day, life runs smoothly, but on photo shoot day, things will short circuit. And then the dog throws up on the carpet.
And that’s where I come in.
Being married to a man who is perpetually stuck in traffic and having two children of my own, I’m somewhat of an expert on going with the flow these days. And for me, that means finding fun in the most unexpected of places...like in a photo shoot. So go ahead and take your time, grab a new shirt and get ready to relax. And don’t be surprised if I suggest you relax at a coffee shop while I hang out with your kids and capture their stories. I might even have a few tricks up my sleeve for getting dog barf out of the carpet.
You’ve got a story to tell. Let’s start telling it.
